Outreach
Every other Saturday at 12 noon, we go out as a team to distribute leaflets and share about Jesus at Canada Water Tube Station (London). If you feel called to join this initiative, please email or call us to check when the outreach is taking place.
Orphanage
David Smethurst is an international missionary and evangelist who has pioneered orphanages in deprived areas across Eastern Europe, including in Latvia, Ukraine, Lebanon and Serbia. David, together with his wife Margurita, planted The Smethurst Ministries in 1972. Since then, the couple have travelled extensively ministering the love of God, giving humanitarian aid to the poor and needy. Through regular missions to these war-torn nations, thousands have come to know the Lord.
David is also SCC’s old and beloved friend. His ministry to orphans is close to the heart of the church and SCC regularly gives financial support to the cause. David’s ministry has seen much fruit; this is evident from the testimonies that David shares during his regular visits to SCC.
